ANALISIS FUKUGOUDOUSHI (複合動詞) DARI VERBA ~TSUZUKERU (~続ける)
Abstract
Abstract
This study is conducted to review the compound verb (複合動詞) in Japanese that has aspectual meanings. There are two research questions in this study include (1) What is the verb characteristic that follows the verb ~tsuzukeru (~続ける) and (2) What is the meaning of the aspectual that is resulted in the compound verb formation ~tsuzukeru (~続ける)? In order to answer the first research question, this study uses Machida Theory (1989:25). Then, the second research question is answered by using the theory of Nitta in Elizabeth (2017). The data source of this study was taken from Ninjal online website for zashi and shinbun category of 2004-2005 edition. The data used in this study were the sentences contain the compound verb ~tsuzukeru (~続ける). This study is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The results of this study are: (1) Verbs characteristics that follow the ~tsuzukeru (~続ける) verb in Ninjal online website for zashi and shinbun category of 2004-2005 edition : 1) keizoku doushi (継続動詞)–jidoushi (自
動詞), the verb that indicates ongoing activities in the intransitive verbs, 2) keizoku doushi (継続動詞)–tadoushi (他動詞), the verb that indicates ongoing activities in the transitive verbs, 3) shunkan doushi (瞬間動詞)–jidoushi (自動詞), verb that expresses a momentary change in the intransitive verbs. (2) The meaning of aspectual that is resulted in the compound verb formation ~tsuzukeru (~続ける) in Ninjal online website for zashi and shinbun category of 2004-2005 edition : 1) continuous results (結果持続)–jidoushi (自動詞), 2) continuous results (結果持続)-tadoushi (他動詞), 3) the continuous fixed results (結果残存)–jidoushi (自動詞), 4) the continuous fixed results (結果残存)–tadoushi (他動詞), 5) the results will not return to its original condition–jidoushi (自動詞), and 6) the results will not return to its original condition-tadoushi (他動詞). Therefore, based on the data that has been found, there are 16 data are used to represent each classification.

この研究の目的は、アスペクト的意味を持っている複合動詞を研究している。この研究で、二つの疑問がある、(1)「~続ける」がついている動詞はどんな特徴を持つのか?(2)「~続ける」で成り立つ結果の複合動詞はどんなアスペクト的な意味を生むか。一番目の疑問を答えるためには Machida (1989:25) の理論を参考にして疑問を解説し、二つ目の疑問を答えるためには Nitta Yoshio の理論を用いた Elizabeth (2017) の理論を参考にして疑問を解説している。データ収集ではニンジャルデータコーパスに 2004~2005 年版の新聞や雑誌をデータの源として使われている。それから「~続ける」が付いている複合動詞をデータにして使われる。この研究は定性的記述的研究である。結果は下記の通りである、(1)「~続ける」が付いている複合動詞の特徴:1) 継続動詞—自動詞:自動詞に含まれて、継続している活動を示している動詞。2) 継続動詞—他動詞:他動詞に含まれて、継続している活動を示している動詞。3) 瞬間動詞—自動詞:自動詞に含まれて、一瞬で変化している活動を示している動詞。(2)「~続ける」で成り立つ結果の複合動詞のアスペクト的な意味:1) 結果持続—自動詞、2) 結果持続—他動詞、3) 結果残存—自動詞、4) 結果残存—他動詞、5) もとに戻れない状態—自動詞、6) もとに戻れない状態—他動詞。データの中から、16 データを各構成を代表として説明される。
